I was visiting Washington DC and staying at a hotel in Virginia. I slipped on bathroom floor in hotel lobby restroom. I fractured my kneecap. I attempted to hire a lawyer to represent me. I cannot recommend Mr. Bergeron enough, he is an absolutely incredible lawyer and individual. If you want a very knowledgeable, seasoned, competent lawyer, capable of efficiently navigating a difficult post-injury process, you need to contact Bergeron Law. My husband and I retained Steve after I was involved in a rear-end motor vehicle collision which resulted in a mild traumatic brain injury, severe post traumatic headaches, and other injuries. Steve is a highly competent lawyer who is very knowledgeable in the area of brain injury. I believe this knowledge was important in my case, and would be in any brain injury case, for many reasons: he understood the nature of my medical diagnoses; he is familiar with many of the top medical providers in the area of brain injury and recovery; he was knowledgeable about the various treatments I had tried or was currently trying; he was able to clarify to opposing counsel the nature and severity of my injuries and their impacts; and this knowledge provides him a level of understanding about the needs of his clients who are brain injury survivors. I’m confident the following statements would apply to the way Steve treats any client, but many were especially important to me as a brain injury survivor.
Steve always took the time to make sure I understood everything and answered any questions. He always let me know what to expect at each step along the way. He was available and quick to respond to any questions, comments, or concerns.
One of the qualities that I was most appreciative of was Steve’s patience.
